Finned elements
Electric finned resistors are the ideal solution to heat up air and gases at low to medium temperatures as the fin expands the heat transfer surface.
We have rectangular steel fin resistors or spiral fin ones welded to the tube with copper. The welding improves and expands the heat transfer (more power in less space) and reduces the thermal inertia and cuts down the noise in the expansion and contraction process.
For steel models, we apply an anti-corrosion aluminium or “deltatone” coat that withstands temperatures of up to 400ºC. We also have the same range of rectangular and spiral fin resistors made of stainless steel only (with embedded fins) to be used in adverse environments, such as humid, corrosive or other environments.
They are all perfect for most electric heat uses in the HVAC sector thanks to their outstanding versatility and mechanical resistance to blows and vibrations.
