Public warning system for chemical risks

Public warning system for chemical risks
Since 2018, IES has been supplying, through its client, Prointega, about thirty sirens and several control centres from its exclusive brand, Hörmann, to ten private companies in the industrial area of Seveso.
The powerful Hörmann sirens can be heard across several miles and are used to strengthen public warning systems and immediately alert people in the event of a serious accident that may affect people outside an industrial plant.
There have been several drills with these sirens (the latest, in February 2022 in the Fertiberia plant), which gained media attention. These drills were run to familiarise people with these alarms and teach them what to do in an emergency.
